The Nanlite Rain Cover for Alien 150C/300C Control Unit (AS-RCC-AL) is a purpose-built accessory designed to protect the non-IP rated control unit during outdoor use. While the Alien series lamp heads themselves are IP55-rated for water resistance, the control units require this cover for complete all-weather protection

  • Protection: Made of thickened, wear-resistant transparent PVC material that keeps the unit dry while maintaining full visibility of display parameters.
  • Battery Space: The cover's enlarged size is designed to accommodate attached V-mount batteries, allowing for continuous battery-powered operation in the rain.
  • Ventilation: Includes strategic openings to allow for adequate airflow, preventing the control unit from overheating even in high-humidity conditions.
  • Installation: Features a simple locking system with hook-and-loop (Velcro) fasteners at the top and bottom for quick assembly and disassembly on set.
