Description

The Nanlite PJ-BM Projection Attachment with 36° Lens for Bowens Mount is a professional optical light-shaping accessory designed to add advanced projection and creative lighting capabilities to compatible Bowens Mount LED fixtures. It allows filmmakers, photographers, and lighting professionals to create precise shapes, patterns, textures, shadows, and shafts of light.

The included 36° lens provides a tight yet versatile beam that is particularly useful in smaller shooting spaces. It can cover large areas of a wall while creating either soft, out-of-focus textures or sharply defined projections. The 36° lens also helps increase the output of the attached light while maintaining a smooth and controlled beam.

The PJ-BM uses carefully designed non-curved optics to minimize aberration and distortion while providing accurate and precise light. Optical coating improves light transmission and color-temperature accuracy, while the internally etched housing helps reduce edge dispersion and fringing.

For creative light shaping, the projection attachment features internal shutters and supports GOBO projection. It includes four B-size GOBOs, a GOBO holder, gel frame, and aperture masks, providing multiple options for controlling and modifying the projected light.

The PJ-BM is constructed with a durable aluminum body and includes a protective flight case for transportation and storage. Its full yoke with a single-sided locking mechanism provides convenient positioning and adjustment during production.

An adjustable iris diaphragm (PJ-BM-AI) is available separately for additional control over the projected beam size. GOBO Set 1 and GOBO Set 2 are also available separately, expanding the creative projection possibilities.
