The Nanlite Forza 500 II LED Daylight Spot Light is a powerful 580W daylight-balanced LED spotlight designed for professional filmmaking, photography, television, broadcast, commercial production, interviews, and studio applications. Combining high output with a compact and professional design, the Forza 500 II provides powerful, consistent illumination while remaining suitable for both studio and on-location productions.
The Forza 500 II features a 5600K daylight-balanced LED source with ±80 Green/Magenta adjustment, allowing users to fine-tune the light to match other fixtures, cameras, or ambient lighting conditions. Its CRI of 96 and TLCI of 97 provide accurate color reproduction and natural-looking skin tones for professional image capture.
When paired with the included RF-BM 55° Bowens Mount Reflector, the Forza 500 II produces up to 92,310 lux at 1 meter (5600K), providing powerful directional illumination for demanding production environments. The fixture features 0–100% dimming in precise 0.1% increments, allowing users to make accurate brightness adjustments for different lighting requirements.
The Forza 500 II uses a Bowens Mount, providing compatibility with a wide range of Nanlite and third-party light modifiers, including softboxes, Fresnel lenses, projection attachments, reflectors, and other Bowens-mount accessories. The included 55° reflector provides a concentrated beam, while the separately available FL-20G Fresnel Lens can further expand the lighting possibilities.
The redesigned yoke provides 360° rotation and a greater tilting range when using large light modifiers. It features a stepless one-sided locking mechanism for precise positioning, while the mounting base is compatible with both 5/8" Baby Pin and 1-1/8" Junior Pin mounts. An integrated umbrella holder provides additional light-shaping flexibility.
The upgraded Control Unit is more compact and features V-Mount battery plates, allowing the Forza 500 II to operate from AC power or compatible 14.4–14.8V / 26V V-Mount batteries for location shooting. The control system provides Bluetooth, 2.4GHz wireless, DMX/RDM, and onboard control options.
The Forza 500 II includes four selectable fan modes—Smart, Full Speed, Low Speed, and Off—allowing users to balance cooling performance and operating noise. The light also features 11 built-in customizable lighting effects, including INT Loop, Flash, Pulse, Storm, TV, Paparazzi, Candle/Fire, Bad Bulb, Firework, Explosion, and Welding. Effects can be customized and saved as presets using the NANLINK App.
A USB port supports firmware updates and can also provide power to compatible wireless DMX receivers or other devices. The Forza 500 II is supplied with a padded carrying bag for convenient transportation and storage.
