FL-11 Fresnel Lens

Description

The Nanlite FL-11 Fresnel Lens is a professional light-shaping accessory designed for Nanlite fixtures featuring the FM Mount. It uses a glass Fresnel lens with an adjustable-length housing to focus and intensify the light output, making it ideal for filmmakers, photographers, and content creators who need greater control over beam spread and light intensity.

The FL-11 features a rotating barrel design that allows the beam angle to be smoothly adjusted from a concentrated 10° Spot to a wider 45° Flood simply by twisting the lens housing. This provides versatile control over the size and intensity of the projected beam for a variety of lighting applications.

When set to the 10° Spot position, the FL-11 can significantly increase light intensity. For example, when used with the Nanlite Forza 60B II, it can produce up to 34,700 lux at 1 meter at 5600K. The Fresnel design is particularly useful for creating focused key light, accent light, hair light, and other directional lighting effects.

The FL-11 includes removable metal barndoors, allowing users to further shape the beam and control unwanted light spill. The barndoors provide additional precision when lighting subjects, backgrounds, or specific areas of a scene.

Featuring Nanlite's FM Mount quick-change system, the FL-11 can be attached or removed with a simple push-button and quarter-turn operation. This allows quick switching between the FL-11 and other compatible Nanlite FM-Mount modifiers.

The FL-11 is compatible with a range of Nanlite FM-Mount fixtures, including the Forza 60 II/60B II/60C/60CR/150/150B/FS-60B/FC-60B/120B/120C.
