- The C-318RLS’s lateral LED layout makes the light much softer and delivers superb quality light for image capture uses. Tested by Alan Roberts for the Television Lighting Consistency Index (TLCI), it scored 93 for the daylight disc and 88 for the tungsten disc.
- The C-318RLS is made of an aluminum alloy that is solid and good for heat dissipation. Powered from a universal mains PSU or via batteries at 7.4–14.8 VDC, the C-318 can operate on standard Sony NP batteries or AC power.
- The unit is supplied as standard with 2 pieces of 4400 mAh batteries, a battery charger, a 12V 2A AC charger adapter, a 12V 40W AC adapter, and a carrying case.
- The color temperature of the C-318RLS can be adjusted from 3200K to 5600K, and the brightness can be dimmed from 10% to 100%.
- Its PMW-integrated digital design and LCD screen make it more convenient to display the color temperature, brightness, and battery level.
- It is suitable for indoor and outdoor photography and videography, portraits, weddings, and interviews, and is especially good for baby photography.
